Purpose of CNS Vital Signs Testing

CNS Vital Signs® is a computerized neurocognitive test battery used to objectively assess brain function after injury—especially traumatic brain injury (TBI) or whiplash-related head/neck trauma.

It evaluates:

  • Memory
  • Processing speed
  • Attention and executive function
  • Cognitive flexibility
  • Reaction time

What Happens During the Test

  • Testing takes approximately 30 minutes
  • You will complete a series of computerized tasks
  • No physical exertion is required
  • The environment is quiet and controlled

After the Test

  • Results are interpreted clinically, not automatically generated
  • Findings help identify cognitive deficits even when imaging is normal
  • Baseline and follow-up testing allow objective tracking of recovery
  • Results may guide rehabilitation, referrals, or legal documentation

Who This Test Is For

  • Auto accident patients
  • Individuals with head or neck trauma
  • Patients with headaches, dizziness, brain fog, or memory issues
  • Anyone with persistent post-injury symptoms
